Frequently asked questions before investment
When is V4A acid-resistant steel required instead of V2A stainless steel?
Although WNr. 1.4301 (V2A) stainless steel is excellent for most applications, WNr. 1.4404 (V4A) is required where chloride ions, salt or lactic acid concentration is high, such as fish processing, cheese production or strong chemical washdowns, to avoid pitting corrosion.
What is the warranty period for installed doors?
As standard, we provide a full 12-month warranty. If you sign a maintenance service agreement with us, this period can be extended up to 5 years for structural and mechanical components.
Do custom opening sizes cost extra or increase production time?
No. We do not import boxed standard products; we manufacture in our own facility. Millimetre-precise custom sizing is standard for us, with no surcharge, while maintaining production lead times of around 3 weeks.
Can frames be installed retrospectively on existing sandwich panels?
Yes. Our doors are available with C-profile frame systems that can be securely mounted onto the outer plane of existing 40–200 mm panels during retrofit opening construction.
